Skulls in my Belly or Glorified Belly I call it, is commonly seen with many Men. You got it right the hanging belly or protruding pot belly which they acquire with the rise in ranks whether you work for a corporate or run your own business.
Not to blame men either because in the world of changing markets, increasing dirty pressure, unreasonable job demands, never ending commands and instructions from the Top Gun, our men walk into high pressured chambers not able to keep track of time and their health. I repeat “not able to keep track of time and their health”.
I was at the security check at 6:00 a.m. yesterday standing in the queue and its sad to see many executives all suited up having protruding pot belly’s which is not a good sign and an impending risk!
We are like super hero’s when it comes to work as we get up at least 3:00 a.m. to catch a 6:00 a.m. flight with 1 hour to freshen up, 1 hour of travel to airport and 1 hour at the boarding counter and we do it so religiously like a ritual knowing the ‘shattering effects’ if we miss the flight.
The same Attitude of a Super Hero we miss totally when it comes to our personal well being. We take our bodies for granted as we least respect them. Just to remind of few points I wrote in my earlier blog (Grubbing the Garbage).

Whether YOU exist or not: –
While you don’t need to awake up at 3 a.m., but an hour before your usual wake up time for a morning walk every day do tons of good not only to YOU but for your “Entire Family” as their emotional well-being is linked to your healthy well-being.
Your family needs YOU–Time to Introspect.
