Folding To Unfold

My recent visit to a clothing store, the job of this security person in this snap, is to ensure that people walk into trail rooms with only 3 garments and walk out with the selected one or return back, if that does not fit into their scheme.

What surprised me is that, while his job is only to collect the clothes back which he did, but he kept on doing what is not expected out of him. He folds the collected clothes from customers and stacking up the same to his side as it becomes easy to replace it back in respective shelves for the main staff.

I asked him whether it is his job to folds clothes and he says to me the following:

   • I do fold clothes because I am learning an additional skill 
   • I do fold clothes because I am targeting to become a Counter Sales Person
   • I do fold clothes because I want to become, floor manager like the one current showroom has
   • I do fold clothes because in the near future I want to have my own shop

These were the exact words he said in the local dialect and I was standing there frozen with his powered vision for himself.
